You said "bound down by the laws of Christ." We're not bound to laws. Since when are we bound to laws? That's the whole reason Christ came, so we wouldn't have to be religious anymore. Grace is what teaches us to be Christ like, not the law. If you're not a Christian, you wouldn't be following a law, you'd simply be doing the right thing.
